  • We welcome and appreciate the viewpoints of businesses, government, schools and colleges, nonprofit advocacy organizations, individuals, allies, and advocates.
  • DC Metro has developed strategic relationships with many national and global organizations and have partnered with others to create a National Disability Leaders Collaboration.
  • We have forged unique partnerships with US government agencies.

Who Leads Us

 Board of Directors

  • Deloitte, EY, KPMG, General Dynamics, Leidos, Booz Allen Hamilton, BAE Systems, MAXAR, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, JBG Smith, Level Access, and Gallaudet University.
  • Our Advisory Board is comprised of top disability-focused organizations and individuals: The ARC, American Foundation of the Blind (AFB), iYellow Group, Concepts Communication, The Resource Network, Diversifi Consulting Group, Drach Consulting, The Valuable 500, and Craig Leen, former OFCCP Director.
  • The Honorable Katherine McCary, the founding Chair of Disability:IN, serves as CEO.

Supplier Diversity Outreach & Disability Owned Business Enterprises (DOBEs)

  • Led by Certified DOBE, Rick Rodgers, The Resource Network.

Veterans

  • Led by Ron Drach, a Vietnam veteran who has worked for nearly 40 years in the areas of veterans’ benefits, services, and programs. (Drach Consulting, disabled veteran-owned)
  • Our Veteran Committee supports Annual Veterans Events, Career Fairs, Military Spouse Programs, and veteran-focused Employee Resource Groups.

Digital Accessibility

  • Led by Eduardo Meza-Etienne, Principal Accessibility SME, Level Access CPACC, MSc, MIM
  • Leads DC Metro Annual Accessibility Forum
  • Leads Chief Accessibility Officer (CAO) Initiative virtual dialog
  • Provides education to members on digital accessibility including web, mobile, and documents
  • Our CAO Initiative which is co-led by Craig Leen, former OFCCP Director includes the CAOs of Canada, Disabilty:IN, Master Card, Ruh Global Impact, Atos, City of Coral Gables, and former IBM CAO.
